Introduction to Sponsored Programs

This presentation is intended to assist faculty and staff with a basic understanding of sponsored programs, from both a PI and departmental perspective. It provides fundamental guidance regarding sponsored programs including review of basic LSU policy, federal policy, proposal preparation, budget preparation, proposal routing, review, approval and submission as well as award and post-award procedures conducted by the Office of Sponsored Programs.

This presentation is intended to provide faculty and staff with information concerning important updates and clarifications regarding sponsored programs. It will provide guidance on new developments and important reminders from federal sponsors and LSU’s Office of Sponsored Programs, focusing on proposal submission. Topics covered change each session as new developments occur. The presentation is intended for faculty and staff that work on sponsored projects on a routine basis.
