DESIGN GUIDELINES
Campus Design Principles with a Governance Structure built in concert with the Campus Master Plan providing assistance for designers to create responses that reflect LSU's historic fabric & future forward 21st century vision.
DESIGN STANDARDS
Describes types of materials and components to be employed on campus and best practices for their use. Not to be used for Specifications, these standards are to be used as guidance for the creation of project documents.
SITE & LANDSCAPE GUIDELINES & STANDARDS
A component of Design Standards, these guidelines provide guidance for both design best practices and details for furnishing and fixtures to be used in LSU's outdoor space.
WAYFINDING GUIDELINES
Provides guidelines on how to use signage as a communication tool to facilitate access in a thoughtful and structured fashion while complementing the architecture and environment of the LSU Campus.
INTERIOR & EXTERIOR ROOM SIGNAGE GUIDELINES
These standards are intended to provide guidance for a consistent signage system offering flexibility and uniformity for all campus building and complies with all applicable provisions of the 2010 Standards for Accessible Design.
ROOM NUMBERING GUIDELINES
Provides room numbering scheme that is consistent and obvious to visitors, flows through the building in a clear and user-friendly pattern and identifies all interior rooms with a number identification.
We are currently in the process of remediating our planning documents to create accessible versions. This process is on-going. Due to the large number of plans involved, it will likely take several years to complete.
