Whether you're a faculty member, staff, an LSU student, or community member, IEW is your chance to foster cross-cultural understanding and engage in global dialogues that prepare us for a more connected world.

IEW Kick-off Tabling

Join the Office of Global Engagement staff at Free Speech Alley. Come by to learn more about the exciting events happening throughout the week and how you can get involved in fostering a more globally connected LSU community

IEW Etiquette Dinner Prep                                                          

Student Union | Career Center Classroom | 3:00 pm

This interactive workshop informs participants how to prepare for the Thursday Etiquette Dinner, what to wear, what to expect, and how to be ready to network. *Only open to registered students

Fulbright Programs and Grants

Student Union | Castilian Room | 9:15 am- 10:30 am 

Learn about types of Fulbright grants, and how to apply. Presenters will share their experiences as Fulbright grantees and offer tips on how to craft a winning proposal!

Stephanie Tilley: “Black Beyond the Bayou: A Louisiana Girl’s Story about Purpose & Passion Abroad”

Join Stephanie Tilley as she shares her inspiring journey abroad in her talk, "Black Beyond Borders: A Louisiana Girl’s Story about Purpose & Passion Abroad." This session will explore her experiences as a Black woman navigating international spaces and cultivating passion across borders. Greeks in Greece Info Session

Interested in studying abroad in Greece? Join this information session to learn about the “Greeks in Greece” program, which offers a unique study abroad experience for students involved in Greek life. Discover how you can blend academic learning with cultural exploration in this beautiful Mediterranean country.

IEW Etiquette Dinner

The Club at Union Square | 5:00 pm

Master the art of professional dining at this Etiquette Dinner with the Global Community Center. Learn essential etiquette skills for formal dining situations, preparing you for formal networking events and how to feel confident on your professional journey. Registration required.

10th Annual Research Fair

The 10th Annual Research Fair will take place Thursday, November 21, 2024. There will be 28 international scholars, representing 9 countries and 8 disciplines, presenting their research.

Thankful Global Village Fest

Savor the flavors of the world at the Thankful Global Village Festival! Sample diverse dishes from different countries, representing the rich cultural tapestry of LSU’s international community. Study Abroad Storytelling

A storytelling event highlighting the greatest parts of LSU's very own study abroad students. This event is an inspiring way to discover the impact of global education. 

IEW Cultural Night 

Global Community Center | 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm

Join the Global Community Center for an immersive evening of cultural performances, music, dance, and storytelling. IEW Cultural Night will serve as an opportunity to celebrate International Education and highlight the wonderful and unique initiatives happening at LSU. In collaboration with ISA
