Biography

Georgia is home.  I was born in Athens and lived on the Berry College campus as a child, which is a private college in Rome, Georgia, where I later attended to receive my dual-major bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy.  It was at Berry that my professor and mentor Dr. Peter Augustine Lawler suggested the idea of attending LSU to pursue a graduate degree in American politics and political theory.  With Dr. Lawler's suggestion and Dr. Sunday Peters' guidance, I began my journey at LSU.
