Hazing Prevention & Reporting

Hazing is illegal in Louisiana and is strictly prohibited at LSU. Our state laws create responsibilities for employees where hazing is concerned. Read more about your reporting responsibility, as well as the signs of hazing, the law, and bystander assistance requirements.

Accessibility

LSU is committed to ensuring its online content is accessible to all users, regardless of ability or disability. Per Section 504 of the Workforce Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, all online content, including but not limited to course materials, websites and pdfs, must be compliant according to WCAG 2.0 Level AA and WAI-ARIA 1.0. LSU’s entire online presence must be brought into compliance by August 2019.

Sites in non-university-supported solutions will need to be remediated by the managing unit. Faculty are responsible for remediating their own websites.
