Xavi Boes
Residential Accountability Manager, Residential Life
I do this work for the impact that developmental conversations can have on a student’s
trajectory during their time at LSU.
Accountability is often misunderstood as a process students experience only when they make a mistake. I strive to reframe that experience through growth, reflection, and learning.
I work with students whose decisions may be pulling them away from their goals, partnering with them to build self-awareness, encourage positive change, and support their ability to flourish in ways that are meaningful to them.

Advice I carry with me
My favorite quote that I received as a piece of advice was: “Don’t measure success, measure effectiveness.” – Dr. C. Raymond Marvin
It puts an emphasis on to judge the impact you have on the people you surround yourself with rather than the amount of people that are there and can be applied in many different contexts and situations.

A sweet stop on campus
The Dairy Store is my favorite spot on campus! It’s a nice place to break up a walk around campus with a sweet treat.
